We offer eggs and meat from pastured poultry. Our chicken tractors allow us to pasture our poultry in small, natural sized flocks, giving the birds access to fresh grass, bugs, and grit daily. We also feed them with non-GMO, soy-free grain. All of this adds up to the healthiest, happiest animals–both for their own sake and for yours!
Pastured Eggs
How do you know when you’ve cracked open a healthy, delicious egg from a pastured hen? The answer is in the yolk! A deep yellow-orange indicates the hen is healthy, the egg is healthy, and what you are eating is healthy!
Our eggs are from our flock of Novogen and Easter Egger hens. Novogens lay beautiful brown eggs and Easter Eggers lay eggs that are blue!
Our eggs are $5.00 a dozen and we sell them at the CSA stand during the summer or from the house the rest of the year. Please contact us if you’d like to buy eggs from us!
Cornish Cross Broilers
We are also raising Cornish Cross chickens for table fowl. You can look forward to a delicious, healthy Sunday dinner of roast chicken, a weeknight of chicken and dumplings, a lunch of homemade chicken salad, or another of your favorite chicken meals. Cornish Cross are able to develop a healthy, deliciously meaty carcass on pasture. Please contact us if you are interested in buying some chicken for your dinners!
